Pip: Gift Lists · Support
Support
Currently in TestFlight beta. Coming to the App Store this holiday season.
Email support@ramirezlabs.app and a person will reply. Telling us your iPhone model, iOS version, and the wish you typed makes it much faster to work out what went wrong. Beta testers can also take a screenshot in the app and send it through TestFlight.
When you add a wish, Pip first rewrites it on your iPhone into a clean product search (“the lego race car with lights” becomes something a store would match). Only that search text is sent to our price server, which looks up current Google Shopping results and sends back products from trusted stores. Pip then picks the best match for your budget, on your iPhone, and shows a few other options at different prices.
Pip only shows large, reputable retailers such as Target, Walmart, Amazon and Best Buy. Marketplaces and resellers are left out on purpose, because a gift that arrives late, used or counterfeit is worse than a slightly higher price.
Yes. When a wish is just a device name, such as PS5, Xbox, Switch or iPad, Pip assumes the person wants the device itself and skips controllers, cases and games. If you want something specific, say so: “PS5 controller” or “Mario Kart for Switch” search exactly as written.
Prices come from live store listings and can change between the search and the moment you tap Buy. Open the wish and tap Search again for fresh results, or pick one of the other options. If a link opens the wrong page, please email us the wish and the store.
Tap the scan button next to Add a gift idea and choose Scan a paper list. Bright, even light with the whole page in view works best. Pip reads the list on your iPhone, even messy handwriting, and shows every wish for you to fix, untick or add to before anything is saved.
Yes. Choose From a text message, then either pick screenshots of the conversation or copy the message in Messages and tap Paste. Pip keeps what they asked for and skips the rest of the conversation. The screenshots are read on your iPhone and are never uploaded.
Pip’s smartest features use Apple Intelligence, which runs on iPhone 15 Pro and newer with Apple Intelligence turned on. On other iPhones everything still works, with simpler suggestions and wording.
To keep prices free and fast for everyone, each iPhone can run a generous number of price searches per hour. Wait a little while and try again. Saved results stay available the whole time.
Your lists sync to your own private iCloud, so they follow you to a new phone or a reinstall. Nobody else can see them, including us. To remove them for good, use Erase all my data, below.
Open Settings in Pip (the gear on the home screen) and tap Erase all my data. Every person, occasion and gift idea is deleted from your iPhone and from your iCloud on all your devices. You can also delete a single person by swiping left on them.
