B.E.T.H. is a research prototype that is not publicly distributed. Ramirez Labs operates no server and collects nothing about anyone using it.
Spoken input is transcribed through Apple's Speech framework and handled by macOS. Recordings and transcripts are not stored by Ramirez Labs and are never transmitted to Ramirez Labs.
Requests are answered by Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework, running locally on your Mac. Prompts are not sent to a third-party language model provider.
The only outbound request is a weather lookup to Open‑Meteo, made when you ask about weather. It sends a location for the forecast and nothing that identifies you.
The Action Lab tab runs a fixed set of test phrases written for research and records the results locally for analysis. Those phrases are invented and contain no personal information.
