Basic Everyday Task Helper. A macOS voice assistant that runs on the machine in front of you. It is a research prototype, not a released app. Questions: support@ramirezlabs.app.
On your Mac, using Apple's Foundation Models framework. Answering a question does not require an internet connection or an API key. Live data, such as a weather lookup, is the exception and is fetched only when you ask for it.
On one OS build, it worked out the right intent about 78% of the time on its own, and about 94% once a deterministic validator checked the answer before anything acted on it. On a different build of the same model the validator did considerably worse, which turned out to be the more interesting result. The research notes go into where it fails, why, and why a number without a build attached to it is not worth much.
Planned, not built. The eventual form is a spatial heads-up display. It is waiting on hardware and on the on-device model being available in the visionOS simulator.
Not currently. It is a doctoral research prototype rather than a shipping product.
